This is a limited edition print of an 'Eurasian Hoopoe' from an original coloured pencil drawing. I have been fascinated by this bird for a very long time. Hoopoe's migrate from Africa during the summer and sometimes overshoot their course landing on the UK's south coast. There are only around 100 of this beautiful birds found in the UK, and their locations are usually kept secret from the public.
 
My wildlife art is inspired from the amazing wildlife that we live alongside on our beautiful planet. I am particularly inspired by birds and British willdlife that I am surrounded by every single day, but also from the incredible animals found in every corner of the globe.

Giclee Prints are professionally printed on finely textured Somerset Enhanced Radiant White Acid-Free Cotton Rag Paper using Archival Museum Quality Inks, guaranteed to withstand fading for at least 100 years.

All prints are personally signed and numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Mounting (matting) is provided by a Fine Art Trade Guild Professional Framer. Mounts (matts) are cut to a 45 degree bevel cut, they are 100% acid free, using conservation mountboard which is essential to guarantee protection of the artwork.
