Pet Portrait Commissions
Commissioning your own treasured pet portrait is easy with these few simple steps:
Photos

The first stage is to choose your photos. This is the most important part in the commission process. Feel free to take a look at my photo guide which you may find helpful in taking the perfect photo. My main rule of thumb is "the better the photo, the better the portrait" so I cannot stipulate enough how important it is to choose the right photo.
Medium and Size

1) Choose your size - I offer a number of different sizes from small to large, your choice may depend on the number of pets in your portrait and your budget. If you would like multiple pets in your portrait I offer a guide as to the best size for your portrait.
2) Choose whether you would like a head/neck portrait portrayed like a floating head, or extended to the edge of the page, or a full body.
Contact Me

Once you have your photos together and decided upon the type of portrait you would like please contact me with your requirements, and attach your photos in the email. Please also
mention if you have any specific deadlines such as a birthday or anniversary. Please note, I usually have a waiting list but I will confirm the approximate time scale upon your enquiry, and I will always try my best to juggle my schedule to fit in a special ocassion.
Payment Information

Once I have seen your photographs and we have discussed your portrait you are ready to place your order. Please read my terms and conditions and then pay a £50 non-refundable deposit to secure your slot in my client waiting list. 50% of the remaining balance is due 1 week before I commence your portrait, with the remaining balance due on completion and full satisfaction of the finished portrait. Payment can be made securely online by bank transfer, credit/debit card or via Paypal.
Portrait Progress & Completion

Once I commence work on your portrait I will keep in touch with you via regular emails where will be able to see your portrait progress throughout it's stages. This will give you the opportunity to make comments along the way and see how your portrait is coming together. I will also post updates on my Facebook Page and Instagram Page unless you would prefer me not to, in case it spoils a surprise gift.
Portrait Completion

Upon completion of your portrait I will email you a final image for your approval. At this stage I may be able to make minor adjustments. Upon full satisfaction of the finished portrait you will be invoiced for the final balance payment which must be paid within 7 days of completion. Your portrait will then be securely wrapped, beautifully packaged and shipped out to you via 24-hour courier (UK) or by International Courier.
Bespoke Framing

All my custom pet portraits are provided unmounted and unframed. However, I do offer a framing service on request. Please indicate whether you wish your portrait to be professionally framed. I use a Fine Art Guild Professional Framer who uses archival quality materials and acid free mattings for maximum protection and longevity. Many different framing mouldings are available to choose from. If you are interested in having your portrait completed with framing and ready to hang upon arrival please contact me for further information.
